If your child is ready to walk, then your child is ready to start learning gymnastics. With parent involvement, our classes offer climbing, jumping, swinging, bouncing, and many movements that will provide a foundation for gymnastics skill building. Our activities develop strength, speed, balance, and flexibility in a safe and controlled environment that builds confidence and independence. Balance has developed structured lessons that are developmentally appropriate, unique and progressive. Through group activities, obstacle courses, and games, your children will enjoy challenges that will point them towards positive growth. Come jump, play, sing, and laugh with your little gymnasts and watch them grow before your eyes!

This class is designed for children who are ready to follow group lead activities. Our classes introduce children to skills and equipment they will be using as future gymnasts, including rings, bars, beam, trampoline, vault and floor. Our activities develop fundamental gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, strength, speed, balance, and flexibility in a safe and controlled environment that builds confidence and independence. We have developed structured lessons that are developmentally appropriate, unique and progressive. Through group activities, obstacle courses, and games, your children will enjoy challenges that will point them towards positive growth.

The Recreational Gymnastics Program at Balance is designed for both the recreational gymnast and the athlete seeking to advance skills in preparation for entry into competitive gymnastics. This class practices on all four competitive events: vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. Tumbl Trak and trampoline are also part of our classes. Our activities develop fundamental gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, strength, speed, balance, and flexibility in a safe and controlled environment that builds confidence and independence. We have developed structured lessons that are developmentally appropriate, unique and progressive. If you are looking to master cartwheels, handstands, walkovers, handsprings, flips, aerials, and other fun gymnastics movements, this class is for you.

Our Dance Acrobatics class is designed for the individual who wants to add gymnastic movements to dance. Our athletes master handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, step outs, aerials, rolls, flips and many other dazzling movements that will surely spice up any dance routine. This class includes conditioning and flexibility designed to maximize mobility, strength, balance, coordination, body awareness, self-discipline and confidence.

Project Balance is for our 5+ gymnast with special needs who seeks to develop strength, balance, gross motor skills and coordination through gymnastics. Our students use gymnastic equipment throughout the class and engage in a series of conditioning exercises. Project Balance addresses the physical, social, and emotional needs of all the athletes as they work towards improved athletic performance and/or competing in the Special Olympics!

Our adult gymnastics and tumbling members learn skills on all the gymnastics equipment including floor, pommel horse, rings, beam, vault, bars, trampoline and Tumbl Trak. Learn skills like handstands, flips, round offs, handsprings, muscle ups, and much more. We work on strength through gymnastics body weight exercises and through weighted strength training. All classes include stretching to increase range of motion in our skills.

This Recreational class is designed for the 5+ homeschooled student looking to learn gymnastics movements while getting a great physical workout. Our activities develop strength, speed, balance, and flexibility in a safe and controlled environment that builds confidence and independence. Balance has developed structured lessons that are developmentally appropriate, unique and progressive. Our athletes train on all of the Olympic gymnastics events and also learn skills on the trampoline and Tumbl Trak. This two-hour class can provide a quality physical fitness component to any educational program.
